A New Rochelle hotel with rooms and a restaurant on site: 240 guests across 5,000 square feet by its own count, 300 by Eventective’s.
Hotel NoMa at 1 Radisson Plaza in New Rochelle publishes 240 guests across 5,000 square feet and three event venues on its own Wyndham page. Eventective says 300 guests across 6,500 square feet and five function rooms. Nobody has reconciled those, so both sit on this page. The hotel was previously branded the Radisson Hotel New Rochelle, and third party booking sites still carry that name against the same address; the rebrand date is not published. The property describes itself as a popular wedding and event venue and takes quote requests directly, with no membership or referral requirement. It has guest rooms and an on site restaurant, NoMa Social, which is the practical case for it: the whole weekend stays on one property, roughly 20 miles from Manhattan and just off I-95. Eventective lists a starting rate of $50 per person and a sample of $2,500 for 50 guests. That figure carries no stated inclusions and almost certainly describes a basic function rather than a wedding, so leave it out of your budget. The hotel publishes no per person rate, no site fee, no minimum and no service charge.
The hotel publishes a capacity and a square footage and nothing financial. The only price in circulation is a $50 marketplace starting rate that describes some other kind of event. So the whole budget has to come from a quote request. Ask for the room name and its seated capacity with a dance floor. Ask the per person package rate at your guest count and the food and beverage minimum for your date. Ask the service charge percentage and what it applies to. Then ask whether another event can be booked in the building that evening.
The hotel’s own Wyndham overview page for Hotel NoMa Trademark Collection, the Visit Westchester listing, the Eventective listing for the hotel in New Rochelle, and The Knot’s listing URL, which did not resolve to a venue page. All read 11 September 2026. Checked September 2026. First party means the business’s own site or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or similar. Nothing here is averaged or estimated.
Capacity conflicts between the hotel (240 guests, 5,000 square feet, three venues) and Eventective (300 guests, 6,500 square feet, five rooms). Get a named room and a seated number in writing.
The hotel’s own Wyndham page gives three event venues, 5,000 square feet and up to 240 conference or banquet guests. Eventective gives five function rooms, 6,500 square feet and a 300 person maximum. Both are recorded here because averaging them would produce a number neither source published.
The gap is 60 guests and 1,500 square feet, which is the difference between a workable room and a cramped one. Individual room names are not published anywhere, so you cannot even check which space the larger figure refers to. Ask the sales office for a named room, its square footage and its seated capacity with a dance floor.
Eventective publishes it alongside a sample of $2,500 for 50 guests. What that covers is not stated: no mention of bar, no mention of hours, no mention of service charge or tax. A $50 head rate in Westchester does not describe a wedding reception with an open bar.
Treat it as evidence that the hotel hosts inexpensive functions, and nothing more. The hotel itself publishes no per person figure and directs prospective clients to request a quote.
Eventective lists on site catering service alongside outside catering permitted and a fully equipped kitchen. Branded hotels almost always control their own food and beverage, so this is either a genuine and valuable exception or a listing error.
The hotel’s own pages publish no vendor policy at all, so there is nothing first party to check it against. If bringing your own caterer is central to your plan, make it the first question on the call.
Third party booking listings still carry Radisson Hotel New Rochelle against 1 Radisson Plaza, and the address itself preserves the old brand. The rebrand date, the construction year and the architect are not published anywhere we looked.
Visit Westchester lists the property as active under the NoMa name, and the Wyndham page loads with full services and a live quote request. The Knot’s listing for the hotel did not resolve to a venue page when we tried it on 11 September 2026.
No exclusivity statement exists. With multiple function rooms, a public restaurant and hotel guests moving through the building, simultaneous events should be the working assumption until the hotel says otherwise in writing.
Eventective also lists an outdoor pool and function area with water views, described as seasonal. No rain plan is published for it, and the ballroom and banquet rooms are indoor.
Strip out the ballroom and what remains is a property where the rehearsal dinner, the wedding, the room block and the morning after can all happen without anyone moving a car. NoMa Social is the hotel’s own restaurant, which makes the rehearsal dinner a conversation with the same sales office rather than a second negotiation.
None of it is priced publicly. No room rate, no block size, no block terms, no restaurant minimum. Ask whether the wedding contract and the room block are one agreement or two, and ask whether unsold rooms in the block come back on you as a charge.
Ask about parking as well. The property sits just off I-95 roughly 20 miles from Manhattan, which is why out of town guests will find it easily. It is also the reason to check what arriving and leaving actually look like on a Saturday evening.
