Sleepy Hollow museum interpreted to 1750. No weddings or rentals are published, and it is open May to December only.
Philipsburg Manor at 381 North Broadway in Sleepy Hollow is a museum, and Historic Hudson Valley publishes no weddings, no site rentals and no private events programme for it anywhere on its site. The only group product offered is group tours and tickets. The site is also seasonal: it opens to visitors from May through December on a rotating weekly schedule, and autumn and winter are heavily programmed with public events. We are recording that plainly rather than listing the place as bookable, because a couple who falls for the millpond and then learns none of this has lost a month.
There is nothing to price here and that is the finding. The absence is not a gap in our research, it is the state of the record: the owning organisation sells tours, not event space. If you want to use the grounds for a photograph after a ceremony elsewhere, ask Historic Hudson Valley directly about photography permissions, since that is a different question from renting the site. Do not budget around this address.
The Philipsburg Manor historic site page and the Historic Hudson Valley home site, both read on 11 September 2026. Checked September 2026. First party means the business’s own site or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or similar. Nothing here is averaged or estimated.
Despite the owning organisation’s name, the site itself is in Sleepy Hollow and therefore in Westchester County. It is still not offered for weddings.
We read the Philipsburg Manor site page and the Historic Hudson Valley home site. The navigation offers planning a visit, group tours and tickets, and historic sites. There is no rentals section and no private events section. Nothing about pricing, capacity, caterer policy or an events contact exists, because no such programme is advertised.
The place itself is an 18th century milling and trading complex, interpreted to the year 1750, when 23 enslaved individuals of African descent lived and worked on the site. It comprises a manor house, a working water powered gristmill and a barn on a millpond. It is a serious piece of public history and it is operated as one.
Visitor operations run May through December, and the published 2026 schedule shifts days every few weeks. It runs 8 May to 27 September on Friday to Sunday. Then 5 October to 29 October on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Then 1 November to 29 November on Friday to Sunday, and 5 December to 20 December on Saturday and Sunday. Memorial Day, Juneteenth and Labor Day are added on top.
On top of that, the autumn and winter months carry the site’s public programming, including Enchanted Evenings and the Sleepy Hollow holiday events, which occupy the grounds through a long stretch of the calendar. If you want a historic Hudson River site in Westchester for a wedding, look at properties that publish a rentals page and a capacity. This one publishes neither.
