A Yonkers hall at $200 to $350 an hour on Tagvenue with a four hour minimum, outside catering allowed and up to 125 seated.
Legacy Events rents by the hour, not by the head. Tagvenue lists $200 an hour Monday to Thursday and $350 an hour Friday to Sunday, with a four hour minimum booking. Multiply the weekend rate by the hours you actually need to find your own floor, because that is the price of the room and nothing else. The venue publishes no prices on its own site at all, so treat those figures as a marketplace listing to be re-confirmed. What you get is two rooms at 92 Main Street in Getty Square. They are open plan, with a dance floor, full length mirrors and a PA system, a few minutes on foot from the Yonkers Metro-North station, with a parking lot across the street. Tagvenue puts capacity at up to 125 seated for dining. Anyone can book it. There is no membership, no club and no gatekeeping. There is also no catering, no bar and no coordinator, because this is a room rather than a wedding venue, and everything else is yours to arrange.
The hourly rate is the only price anyone publishes, and Tagvenue published it rather than the venue, so confirm it before you budget. Tagvenue’s figures are $200 an hour Monday to Thursday, $350 an hour Friday to Sunday, and a four hour minimum booking. The venue’s own site adds that the rental includes tables, chairs and one hour of set up. Everything that makes it a wedding, from the food and the bar through to the linens and the coordination, is a separate contract you sign elsewhere. Ask for the deposit amount in dollars and read the cancellation terms twice.
The venue’s homepage and refund policy page, and the Tagvenue listing for the Legacy event space. All read 11 September 2026. Checked September 2026. First party means the business’s own site or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or similar. Nothing here is averaged or estimated.
All deposits are non refundable once a date is secured, cancellations inside 30 days get nothing back, and the deposit amount is not published. This is a plain hourly hall, so a couple supplies caterer, bar, rentals and coordination.
The venue confirms that outside catering is permitted and offers none of its own. Tagvenue adds that you may bring your own alcohol with no corkage fee, which is a genuinely unusual term and is worth confirming directly, because the venue’s own published policies do not address alcohol at all.
The rental includes tables and chairs and one hour of set up before your event, which the venue states itself. Everything else is on you: caterer, bar staff, linens, glassware, flowers, music and coordination.
For a small reception, a rehearsal dinner or an after party that is a sensible trade, and the hourly rate is low enough to fund the rest. For a full traditional wedding it is a lot of separate contracts, and somebody has to be the person who lets the caterer in.
Price the hours honestly. A caterer needs time before guests arrive and time after they leave, and the venue includes one hour of set up but says nothing about breakdown. If your reception runs five hours, you may be booking seven.
The Friday to Sunday rate is $350 an hour and the minimum booking is four hours, both from Tagvenue. Work out your own total from the hours you actually need. Whatever it comes to will look cheap against a Westchester catering hall. It is only cheap once you have priced the catering, the rentals, the bar, the staff and the cleanup yourself, since a hall would have absorbed all of that into a per person price.
Ask what the venue considers the start of your block, whether set up time is billed, and what happens if you run over by thirty minutes.
This is the part to read before you fall for the price. The venue’s published policy states that all deposits are non refundable once an event date has been secured. Cancellations inside 30 days are non refundable. Cancellations 30 days or more out may qualify for a partial refund at management’s discretion.
Discretion is the operative word, and the deposit amount itself is not published anywhere. Ask what the deposit is in dollars and what percentage of the total it represents before you hand anything over.
The policies page also notes that additional cleaning, repair or damage fees may apply, without stating an amount. Ask for that schedule in writing too, especially if you are bringing in your own alcohol and your own caterer, since those are the two things that generate cleaning disputes.
Tagvenue shows the space generally available from 10:00 AM to midnight daily, with Wednesday starting at 11:00 AM. Those are listed opening hours. The venue publishes no event end time or curfew of its own, and an hourly rental ends when your booked hours end.
So the practical question is how many hours you are buying and what an extra one costs. One hour of set up is included, which suggests breakdown may not be.
A midnight close is late for Westchester, where clubs and catering halls routinely stop at eleven. If a late reception is the point, that is a genuine argument for this room over a grander one.
Capacity of 125 seated and 125 standing comes from Tagvenue alone. The venue’s own site publishes no capacity at all. Confirm it, and confirm whether 125 assumes both rooms or one.
The venue describes two versatile rooms for smaller and larger celebrations, but does not say whether both can be let separately at the same time. If you want the building to yourself, ask whether another party can book the second room on your date.
Ask for a floor plan with dimensions while you are at it. An open plan room seats a very different number with rounds than with long tables. Tagvenue’s 125 is a dining figure, and a buffet table and a band both come out of that same floor area.
One third party listing also notes that the venue does not accept virtual payments such as Zelle. We could not verify that and the venue does not publish a payment policy, so treat it as a question rather than a fact. It is worth asking, because a hall that wants a cashier’s cheque changes how you plan the deposit.
Getty Square puts you a short walk from the Yonkers Metro-North station, with a parking lot across the street. For a guest list that skews toward the city, that is worth more than a lawn. People can come up on the train and go home on it.
It also means an indoor venue with no outdoor space and no rain plan to worry about, because there is nothing outdoors to have a plan for. Tagvenue lists availability seven days a week year round, and the venue publishes no season.
That combination, a train station, a car park and a room with no weather risk, is the argument for this place. It is not a wedding venue in the Westchester sense and it does not pretend to be one. It is a good room in a convenient spot at a price you can actually see before you call.
