Luxe V Events rents a single room of 3,200 square feet at 58 Gramatan Avenue in Mount Vernon. That number is the only figure the venue publishes about itself. Everything else a couple needs comes from Tagvenue, where the room is listed at 150 standing and 94 seated, with a hire fee of $1,000 to $2,000 depending on day and time. Ninety four seated is the number to sit with. It puts this in the range of a small wedding, a rehearsal dinner or a reception after a ceremony held somewhere else, not a 200 guest banquet. The trade is control. Tagvenue’s listing says outside catering is allowed and that kitchen facilities are available to guests. It also records no in house catering and bring your own alcohol with no corkage fee. Almost nothing else in Westchester lets you do that. It is also a claim on a marketplace page rather than a policy the venue has written down, so it belongs in your first phone call. Viewings are by appointment, and the venue says it will not show the space during another client’s event or setup.

Nothing in this table comes from the venue. The hire fee, the seated capacity, the hours and the catering rules are all Tagvenue’s, and Tagvenue is describing an hourly rental rather than a wedding. Ask for a written quote covering the full block of hours you need, setup and breakdown included, and ask exactly what the $1,000 minimum spend covers. Then ask the two questions that decide it: how many people can sit down to dinner, and can you bring your own caterer and bar.

The venue’s own site at luxevevents.com, the Tagvenue entire venue and venue profile pages for Luxe V Events Venue Rental, and the Eventective listing for Luxe V Events LLC in Mount Vernon. All read 11 September 2026. Checked September 2026. First party means the business’s own site or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or similar. Nothing here is averaged or estimated.

Every figure here is marketplace sourced and the venue confirms none of it. A seated capacity of about 94 caps this at a small wedding.

The only first party number here is a square footage

The venue’s own site publishes 3,200 square feet and nothing a couple could budget against. No capacity. No hire fee. No hours, no vendor policy, no deposit terms. It is a one page site with a reservations form, a gallery and two phone numbers.

For an hourly rental space that is not a scandal. It does mean every figure below carries a marketplace label, and that you should read this page as a list of questions for the operator rather than as a quote.

Ninety four seated is the ceiling, and Tagvenue is the only source for it

Tagvenue lists the room at up to 150 standing and up to 94 seated for dining. The venue confirms neither figure. If your guest list is 120 people at tables, this room is very likely too small, and you want that settled in writing before a deposit moves.

The size does suit a particular kind of wedding. A ceremony and a seated dinner for eighty. A reception after a courthouse morning. A rehearsal dinner the night before something larger.

Outside catering and a bring your own bar are the reason to look here at all

Tagvenue’s entire venue listing states that external catering is allowed and that kitchen facilities are available to guests. It also records no in house catering and BYO alcohol with no corkage fee. In a county where most wedding venues sell a per head package and own the bar, that combination is rare and it is worth real money.

It is also unverified. The venue’s own pages say nothing whatever about vendors, so confirm it directly, in writing, before you sign a caterer.

The booking windows close at 7pm from Tuesday to Thursday

Tagvenue publishes bookable windows of 12:00pm to 7:00pm Tuesday through Thursday, 1:00pm to midnight Friday through Sunday, and closed Mondays. Read as a curfew, that is midnight on a weekend and an early evening finish midweek. The venue publishes no hours of its own. Ask what a Saturday block actually includes and when load out has to be finished, because in a room this size setup and breakdown eat a meaningful share of the day.

Two phone numbers, and one of them is not a Westchester number

The site prints (631) 796-7319, a Long Island area code, alongside (914) 233-7881. The 914 line is the local one and the one to use. The site is also loosely maintained: when we loaded it, it was still serving a website builder placeholder address in the page.

None of that says anything about the room. It does tell you what kind of operation you are dealing with, and it argues for getting every term on paper.

Get the hire fee, the exact hours, the deposit, the cancellation terms and the vendor rules into one written document before any money moves. With a small operator that document is your only protection, and asking for it is normal rather than rude.

A blank room means buying everything else separately

The hire fee is the floor rather than the budget. In a space with no in house catering there is no per head figure to hide behind, which is honest, and it also means tables, chairs, linens, glassware, staff, a bar and the cleanup all arrive as separate invoices. Couples coming from package venues routinely underestimate that.

So the questions are unglamorous. What furniture is in the room, and how many people does it seat. Are there linens. Is there refrigeration, and where does a caterer load in. Is there a service entrance, or does everything come through the front door. What condition does the room have to be left in, and by what time.

None of that is published, by the venue or by Tagvenue. Written answers are the difference between a hire fee of $1,000 to $2,000 and a real number you can set against a Westchester package venue. Get them before you decide this is the cheaper route.
