Three ballrooms on a town owned 116 acre golf property in Eastchester, with a $13,050 starting price listed on WeddingWire.
The words country club in the address put people off, and here they should not. Lake Isle is a town owned recreational facility. The Town of Eastchester bought the 116 acre former private club site in 1979 and runs it on a self sustaining basis. Anyone can book the catering, because the catering is not the town’s. It is run by Mulino’s, the Westchester restaurant group behind Gigante Restaurant and Bar. Mulino’s takes public inquiries through its own site, a booking form and a tour request. Golf, tennis and pool memberships exist at Lake Isle, and nothing conditions a wedding on holding one. What Mulino’s does not publish is a price. Not a per person rate, not a package, not a minimum, and no capacity for any of its three ballrooms. The only figure anywhere is WeddingWire’s starting price of $13,050, a marketplace number for a whole event and not a first party rate.
One number exists and it is a marketplace one: WeddingWire’s $13,050 starting price, for a whole event, said to include bartenders, a champagne toast and open bar. Treat it as a marketplace starting figure rather than a quote for your date. Everything that decides the real bill is unpublished: the per person rate, the minimum, the service charge, the administrative fee and then the tax on top of all of it. Ask for all five in writing, and ask which ballroom the number refers to.
The venue’s home, amenities, vendors, ballrooms and tour pages, the Lake Isle Country Club catering, about and membership pages, and listings on The Knot, WeddingWire and Eventective, all read on 11 September 2026. Checked September 2026. First party means the business’s own site or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or similar. Nothing here is averaged or estimated.
The only price is a marketplace starting figure, the venue publishes no capacity for any of its three ballrooms, and exclusivity is not addressed anywhere.
The venue names a Grand Ballroom, a Fairway Ballroom and a Gatsby Ballroom, plus patios used for outdoor ceremonies, cocktail hour and a Viennese hour, a bridal suite, and Gigante Restaurant and Bar on the property. Per room capacities are published nowhere on the venue’s own site, including its ballrooms page.
The 300 guest figure that circulates comes from the marketplaces. WeddingWire says up to 300 and The Knot says 300 plus. Neither tells you which room that is, and with three rooms on one site the distinction is the whole planning question. Ask for the seated capacity of each ballroom with a dance floor, and ask before the tour.
WeddingWire publishes a starting price of $13,050 for Mulino’s at Lake Isle and describes it as including bartenders, a champagne toast and an open bar. That is a marketplace figure for a whole event, read on 11 September 2026, and the venue publishes no rate of its own. We are not dividing it by a guest count to manufacture a per person number, and neither should anyone else.
The venue itself publishes nothing you could budget from: not a per person rate, a package price, a menu price, a room rental, a food and beverage minimum or a guest minimum. Nothing is published about a service charge, an administrative fee, a maitre d’ fee or a bridal attendant fee either. Those last four are where a quote grows, so get them itemised on the first call.
No exclusivity statement is published. With three ballrooms under one roof, a second wedding running alongside yours is a real possibility and the venue has not ruled it out. Ask whether more than one event is booked on your date, ask where the other party enters and where they take photographs, and ask for the answer in the contract.
Gigante is on the property too, and it is a working restaurant. That is useful for a rehearsal dinner or an after party. It is also another set of guests in the building on the night.
Food is in house. For everything else, Mulino’s publishes a preferred vendors page spanning beauty, music and entertainment, photo booths, floral and event design, specialty cakes, transportation, accommodations and kosher catering through Foremost Caterers. What the site does not say is whether that list is mandatory or advisory.
That is the question to ask, along with whether an outside vendor carries a fee. Kosher catering deserves its own conversation, since the named kosher caterer is an outside firm and the arrangement will have separate terms.
The 116 acres of golf course give the ballrooms and patios a manicured setting, and because the property is public there is no membership gate and no sponsor to find. It also means residents and daily fee players are out on the course, in the pool and on the tennis courts while your wedding happens.
Lake Isle advertises 2026 memberships opening on 1 April 2026, and both the town site and the Mulino’s site were live and current when we read them on 11 September 2026. The operation is plainly running.
Mulinoslakeisle.com is the catering brand and the correct link for a wedding inquiry. Lakeislecountryclub.com is the town facility, covering golf, tennis, pool and memberships. Third party listings mix the two names constantly, which is how a public banquet operation ends up filed as a private club.
The practical effect is small and real. An inquiry sent to the town side will be slower to reach the people who sell weddings, because the two sites carry different contact routes for the same building. The catering site’s tour form is the one attached to the sales team.
