We could not confirm Windrose on Hudson exists as a wedding venue: absent from 180 Ossining listings on Eventective and from two other directories.
We cannot confirm this venue exists. Our record lists Windrose on Hudson at 1 Shady Lane Farm Road in Ossining, described as a hotel, with a toll free phone number, (866) 902-6716, rather than a local Westchester line. We checked two pages of Eventective’s Ossining wedding venue directory, covering 180 listings, plus The Knot’s Sleepy Hollow area directory and a WeddingWire directory for the White Plains area. Windrose on Hudson appears in none of them. The candidate website could not be loaded in our session. Absence from directories is not proof of closure. It is reason enough that we will not publish a page implying you can book here.
There is nothing to read here, and that is the point of the page. We have no price, no capacity, no room names and no confirmation that the property takes weddings. Three directories that do carry the rest of the Ossining and Sleepy Hollow market do not carry this one. If you have a live contact at the property, ask for a room name, then a seated capacity, then a written quote, and tell us what you find. Until then we will not list it as bookable.
Eventective’s Ossining wedding venue directory, pages one and two; The Knot’s Sleepy Hollow area reception venue directory; and a WeddingWire directory covering the White Plains area. All read 11 September 2026. Checked September 2026. First party means the business’s own site or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or similar. Nothing here is averaged or estimated.
Do not place a deposit or plan a date around this listing until you have reached the property directly and confirmed it exists and takes weddings.
Eventective’s Ossining wedding venue directory runs to 180 listings for the town and the area around it. We read both pages of it on 11 September 2026. No Windrose. We then read The Knot’s Sleepy Hollow area directory and a WeddingWire directory covering the White Plains area. No Windrose in either.
The candidate website, windroseonhudson.com, could not be loaded in this session. That is a limitation of our tooling rather than evidence the site is dead, so we are not claiming the property is closed. We are claiming we could not verify that it is open, which is a different and smaller statement.
The number in our dataset, (866) 902-6716, is a toll free reservations line. Westchester venues that take weddings publish a 914 number and usually a named events contact. A toll free line attached to a scraped hotel record is the pattern you see when a listing has been syndicated through a booking aggregator rather than written by the property.
If you found this venue on a listing site and it looked promising, treat the listing as unverified until you have spoken to someone at the property who can name the room you would be married in. Our county pages for Westchester hotels and estates only carry venues whose own pages we loaded and whose booking policy we read.
