Century Country Club does not say if a couple can get married here. That is the first thing to know and it is the honest answer. The club’s public site carries a history page, directions, a guest dress code, careers and a member login. It carries no weddings page, no banquets page, no catering page and no public event inquiry form. We read the home page, the history page and the dress code page on 11 September 2026. Nothing on any of them states that outside events are accepted, and nothing states that they are refused. We will not fill that silence in either direction. What the club does publish is history, and it is good history. Century incorporated on 4 May 1898, moved to Greenburgh in 1904, and settled on 175 acres of the Fairchild property in Purchase in 1922. The Colt and Alison course was completed in 1926 and restored by Keith Foster in 2017. If Century is on your list, call 914-761-0400 before you get attached to the place.

Every row here is empty, and that is the finding rather than a gap in our work. Century publishes no event information of any kind, and no marketplace carries a price for it. There is no number to negotiate from and no capacity to plan around. Before anything else, call 914-761-0400 and ask the question that decides everything: does the club host weddings for non members, and if so on what terms.

The club’s home page, history page and guest dress code page, read on 11 September 2026, plus searches of The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola and Wedding Spot. Checked September 2026. First party means the business’s own site or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or similar. Nothing here is averaged or estimated.

The club publishes no event information at all and its site is largely member gated. Do not treat it as bookable until the club says otherwise on the phone.

The club publishes nothing about events, and that is the finding

We looked for the usual pages. Weddings, private events, banquets, catering, a public inquiry form, a phone number for an events director. None of them exist on the public site. What a non member can reach is limited to history, directions, a dress code for guests, careers and a login box.

That is not evidence the club refuses outside weddings. It is equally not evidence that it accepts them. Westchester has clubs in both categories that publish exactly this much, which is to say nothing. The only source that can settle it is the club, and the number is 914-761-0400.

Every number a couple needs is missing

No room names. No seated capacity. No cocktail capacity. No per person rate, no site fee, no food and beverage minimum, no service charge, no vendor policy, no end time, no rain plan. We also found no listing with a starting price on The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola or Wedding Spot.

A page that invented any of those would be more satisfying to read and would be worthless. Where the record is empty we print the emptiness.

What the club does publish is 1898, 1922 and 1926

Century started informally in March 1898 and incorporated on 4 May of that year, originally at Throgs Neck with a nine hole course on about 60 acres. It moved to Greenburgh in 1904 with a full eighteen. In 1922 it took 175 acres of the Fairchild property in Purchase, where it still sits.

The course there was designed by the firm of Colt and Alison, that is H.S. Colt and C.H. Alison, and completed in 1926. Keith Foster finished a renovation of it in the autumn of 2017. All of that comes from the club’s own history page, read on 11 September 2026.

Ben Hogan was the professional here, which tells you the register

The club’s history records Ben Hogan joining as assistant professional in 1938 and becoming head professional in 1940. That is a first party claim on Century’s own page, and it signals what sort of club this is: old, serious about golf, and not in the business of marketing itself to the public.

Couples tend to read prestige as availability. The two are unrelated. A club can be famous and never take an outside booking, and a quiet club down the road can take them every Saturday.

The one instruction the club gives a visitor is how to dress

Of the handful of pages a non member can read, one is a dress code for guests. That is the sum of the guidance Century offers anybody arriving from outside. It is a small detail and it is a useful one, because a club that writes down what guests may wear has thought carefully about how outsiders behave on the property.

If an event here ever becomes possible for you, expect that code to apply to your guest list, and expect to have to pass it on. Ask for it in writing with the contract, along with rules on photography, mobile phones and access to the course. Those are the terms that most often surprise a wedding party at a club of this kind.

What to ask on the call, in this order

Ask whether the club hosts weddings for anyone other than members. If the answer is member sponsored, ask what sponsorship actually requires, because the definition ranges from a signature to a long friendship. If the answer is no, you have saved yourself a tour. Only then ask about dates, rooms and rates.

Do not send a general inquiry into a login gated site and wait. There is no events inbox published. Use the phone.

It is in Westchester, and that is the last thing we can confirm

The address is 233 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase, in the Town of Harrison, Westchester County. The site loaded on 11 September 2026 with current contact details and a member login, so the club is operating. That is the complete list of things about Century we could verify.

We will update this page the day the club publishes an events page, or the day a reader tells us what they were told on the phone. Until then the useful content here is the absence itself.
