Cortlandt Manor golf club that books non members, hosts one wedding a day and seats 180. From $13,500 on WeddingWire.
Hollow Brook is a private golf club at 1060 Oregon Road in Cortlandt Manor that runs a public facing wedding business, and it is the rare Westchester club where both halves of that sentence are visible on its own website. There is a weddings section, two published package pages, a pricing page, a named Director of Sales and a public inquiry form. Nothing anywhere on the site says a member must host or sponsor your wedding. The best fact here is one the club states itself: only one wedding at a time, and one wedding per day. The banquet room is 2,800 square feet with vaulted ceilings and takes up to 180 seated. The ceremony happens on a covered veranda over the valley, which means rain does not force it indoors. The catch is money. The club’s actual prices sit behind a lead capture form, so the only visible figures are marketplace starting prices.
Nothing the club publishes carries a price, so the two starting figures you see, $13,500 off peak and $16,000 peak, both come from WeddingWire. They are starting totals rather than per person rates, and the platforms’ own $20,000 to $25,000 typical spend estimates are guesses. Request the pamphlet, then ask for a per person rate by season, the service charge as a percentage, what a signature drink costs, and written confirmation of the one wedding per day policy.
The club’s weddings page, wedding pricing page, both wedding package pages and its about and history pages at golfhollowbrook.com. We also read The Knot and WeddingWire listings for Hollow Brook Golf Club, all on 11 September 2026. Checked September 2026. First party means the business’s own site or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or similar. Nothing here is averaged or estimated.
All first party pricing is gated behind a lead capture form, and WeddingWire’s peak and off peak starting prices differ by $2,500, so your date choice moves the number before anything else does.
The club describes itself as a private golf club in Cortlandt Manor. That is about membership for golf. The wedding operation runs in parallel and is aimed squarely at the public. There is a Weddings and Special Events section, two package pages, and a wedding pricing page offering a downloadable pamphlet. A Director of Sales is named and reachable on 914-734-1500, and a lead capture form sits on the pricing page.
We looked specifically for membership or sponsorship language across those pages and the about and history pages. There is none. The Knot and WeddingWire both list the club with starting prices and no membership caveat. That is about as clean as this question gets in Westchester, though a couple should still get it confirmed in writing before a deposit.
The weddings page says the club hosts only one event at a time. The second package page goes further and states one wedding per day with dedicated staff. Both come from the club, which matters, because this is the single most commonly assumed and least commonly published thing about a wedding venue.
Practically it means the parking lot, the staff and the room belong to your event for the day. It also means dates go quickly, since the club cannot stack two Saturdays into one.
Ceremonies happen on a covered veranda looking over the valley. That is an unusual and genuinely useful piece of architecture. At most outdoor venues a rain call means moving 120 chairs indoors and losing the view. Here the ceremony space is already protected.
The cocktail hour moves to a lower slate patio, and there is a covered terrace with a fire pit for the end of the night. No formal wet weather policy or call time is published, so ask who decides and when, even though the physical answer is already good.
Dinner happens in a single 2,800 square foot banquet room with vaulted ceilings, up to 180 seated. WeddingWire describes a 100 to 180 working range and The Knot places the club in a 151 to 200 band. Add the private suite for getting ready and you have a complete wedding on one property with no room change that involves a bus.
For a guest list between 120 and 180 that is a strong fit. Below about 100, ask how the room is dressed down, because a 2,800 square foot hall set for 80 people can feel empty and no minimum is published that tells you where the floor actually sits.
The club’s pricing page advertises a pamphlet packed with pricing, packages and amenities, and the pamphlet sits behind a lead capture form. Neither package page shows a price. So there is no publicly published per person rate at all.
WeddingWire lists a starting price of $13,500 off peak and $16,000 peak. The Knot shows the same $13,500. WeddingWire also lists a $1,750 ceremony fee, the same in both seasons, and says the starting fee covers the bridal suite, chairs, event planning, setup, cleanup and wireless internet. Both platforms additionally display generated estimates suggesting couples typically spend $20,000 to $25,000, and those are platform guesses rather than club figures.
The $2,500 gap between peak and off peak at the starting level is the thing to act on. Peak runs May to October on WeddingWire, with off peak covering March, April, November and December.
Catering and baking are handled in house. The wedding cake or cupcakes come through The Cakey Bakery with a flavour and filling consultation, which is published on the club’s own package page. Signature drinks carry an additional fee that the club does not quantify.
WeddingWire states that outside vendors are permitted and that event rentals are available. Neither claim appears on the club’s own site. That is a contract term you should not take from a listing, so put it in your first email.
The club’s own history page traces the land to Stephanus Van Cortlandt’s 1683 purchase from the Kitchawanks. The original Hollow Brook Country Club opened in 1919 as a nine hole course and ran until the Second World War, after which the eastern parcel became the Hollowbrook Drive-In. The present course, 250 acres and 6,923 yards, was designed and built by Eric Bergstol.
That is more documented history than most clubs in this county put on a website, and it is first party, which is rarer still. It has no bearing on your catering bill. It does give the property a story you can actually stand behind in a toast.
