Armonk’s newest private golf club, rebuilt by Rees Jones in 2021, with no weddings page and a clubhouse still to be built.
The Summit Club at Armonk does not offer weddings, as far as its own website is concerned. There is no weddings page, no banquets page, no catering page and no event inquiry path. The only form on the site is a golf membership inquiry, and the club describes itself as the newest private golf and country club in Westchester County. Its clubhouse, pool, fitness center and tennis courts are described as planned future amenities, to come alongside 73 luxury homes. We read four pages of the club’s site on 11 September 2026. Do not plan a wedding here without a direct confirmation from the club.
There is nothing to price because there is nothing on offer. The club sells golf memberships, and the building a wedding would need has not been built. If a directory shows this address as a wedding venue with a capacity or a starting price, that figure did not come from the club. Call and ask whether private events happen at all, and where. Everything else waits on the clubhouse.
The club’s home, about us, contact and news pages, plus Golf Course Architecture and Rees Jones Inc reports on the course renovation, all read on 11 September 2026. Checked September 2026. First party means the business’s own site or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or similar. Nothing here is averaged or estimated.
This is a private golf club with no published event offer and no completed clubhouse. Do not treat it as bookable.
Across 156 acres the club’s About Us page describes a pavilion, a pro shop and one food truck. The pool, fitness center, tennis courts and clubhouse are all described as future amenities, to be built alongside 73 luxury homes. No event rooms are named, no capacity is published, and no catering operation exists beyond the truck.
The golf is real and recent. Rees Jones began a full renovation of the former Brynwood Golf and Country Club course in November 2020. The renovated front nine opened in May 2021, all 18 holes were complete by mid June, and the club held its grand opening on 24 July 2021 with a ribbon cutting and an inaugural tournament. The tenth hole was removed for residential development, and the par five seventeenth was split into a par four and a 180 yard par three.
While checking the history we found an entry on countryclubmag.com claiming a 1987 founding, a Robert Trent Jones Jr course, an I.M. Pei clubhouse, and hosting of the 1999 Ryder Cup and the 2000 Presidents Cup. The 1999 Ryder Cup was played at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts. We recorded none of that source’s claims, and we would not use it for any club.
If you are set on this address, call and ask two things: whether the club hosts private events at all, and where such an event would physically take place before the clubhouse is built. Until there is a building and an answer, this is a golf club with a membership form.
