You do not have to join this club to get married in it, and the club says so in its own words. Its weddings and events page states that it has several membership sponsored programmes that allow you to use the venue for an event without a required membership. That is two ideas in one sentence, and it is the first thing to ask about. The room is the Crystal Ballroom: 7,100 square feet, 50 to 450 people, inside a clubhouse the club puts at 75,000 square feet and describes as recently renovated. The course is a Jim Fazio design at 7,300 yards, par 72. There is also a 1,100 square foot Rotunda, an Aberdeen room with patio, an outdoor Portico for ceremonies weather permitting, and guest suites so the wedding party can sleep on site. The club publishes no prices at all. The only cost figures in circulation sit on Wedding Spot, which headlines a starting total of $52,624 for 150 guests.

The club sells this room by conversation, not by rate card. The $52,624 figure is a Wedding Spot starting total for 150 guests and it is the highest starting number in this group, so it should anchor your expectations without being mistaken for a quote. Ask for the club’s own event brochure, then ask three things it may not answer: the service charge percentage, how sales tax is applied, and the overtime rate at your real guest count rather than at 100.

The club’s weddings and events page, its request for event information form, its event brochure PDF (blocked to automated retrieval), the Wedding Spot listing, the WeddingWire listing and the Wikipedia entry for the club. Checked September 2026. First party means the business’s own site or rate card. Marketplace means The Knot, WeddingWire, Zola, Wedding Spot or similar. Nothing here is averaged or estimated.

The membership wording pairs sponsored programmes with no required membership, so confirm which mechanism applies to you before you fall for the ballroom. The address also differs between the club and Wedding Spot.

The membership language says two things at once, so make the club pick one

Here is the club’s own phrasing, from its weddings and events page: it offers membership sponsored programmes that allow you to use the venue for your event without a required membership. Read that twice. Sponsored and unsponsored are different arrangements, and the sentence gestures at both.

The rest of the evidence points toward open access. The same page carries a public Request for Proposal button and a Contact an Event Specialist button. The enquiry form at /request-event-information has no membership gate, and its question about how you heard of the club offers Guest of a Member and Member Event as options you may select rather than requirements you must meet. Wedding Spot lists the property publicly as a private club and golf course with a starting price and no membership caveat, and WeddingWire and PartySlate list it publicly too.

None of that is a contract. Ask the event office which specific programme applies to a couple with no member connection, whether a sponsor has to be named, and whether the price differs. Do it in the first call.

The Crystal Ballroom is one of the largest single rooms in Westchester

At 7,100 square feet and a stated range of 50 to 450 people, the ballroom is built for the large end of the market. The Rotunda adds 1,100 square feet, the Aberdeen room pairs with a patio for indoor and outdoor use, and the Portico is the outdoor ceremony position, published as weather permitting.

Wedding Spot gives a higher set of numbers than the club does: up to 500 guests overall, an indoor ceremony maximum of 300 and an indoor reception maximum of 500. We are recording the club’s own 450 ballroom maximum as primary and leaving the marketplace figure visible, because a 50 person gap decides whether a guest list works.

The club prints no prices, and the one brochure that might is blocked to us

The club’s site carries no rate and no minimum, and says nothing about how a service charge or tax reaches the bill. The club publishes an event brochure PDF, and the site’s robots.txt blocks it from automated retrieval, so we could not read it on 11 September 2026. If there is a rate card, it may be in there. Ask for that PDF by email and read it before any site visit.

What exists publicly comes from Wedding Spot. It gives a starting figure of $52,624 for 150 guests and a ceremony fee of $3,500 when the Rotunda or Balcony is taken with a reception. It describes five hours of event time excluding setup and breakdown, with additional hours at $2,000 an hour based on a 100 person guest count. The same listing says all food, beverage and alcohol are provided by the venue, and that the package covers tables, chairs, linens, silverware, glassware, a dance floor, coat check, setup and cleanup, valet, a day of coordinator and planning.

Every one of those figures is a marketplace figure. None of it is the club’s published rate, and the club has not confirmed any of it to us. We are also not going to divide $52,624 by 150 and call the result a per person price, because a starting total covers fixed costs that do not scale with a guest list. If you want a per head number, ask the club for one.

A five hour standard with paid extensions is the shape to plan around

The club publishes no end time. Wedding Spot’s five hour block with $2,000 hourly extensions is the only timing information available, and it is pegged to a 100 person count, so the overtime rate for a 300 person wedding is an open question. Confirm the start time and the hard end time. Ask for the overtime rate at your real guest count, and ask who decides when the music stops.

Five hours is the standard shape of a Westchester wedding and it fills faster than couples expect. A ceremony on the Portico, a cocktail hour, dinner service for 300 and a Viennese hour will use the whole block without a long dance floor at the end of it. Decide early whether you are buying a sixth hour, because that is easier to price into a contract than to negotiate at 10pm on the night.

Outdoor ceremonies are weather permitting, and that is the whole published policy

The Portico is offered for ceremonies weather permitting. That phrase tells you outdoor ceremonies depend on the day, and nothing else. There is no published indoor backup commitment, no rain call deadline and no statement of who makes the call or when.

With four event spaces on the property and a club that continues to run golf and member dining, exclusive use should not be assumed either. The club publishes no one wedding at a time policy. Ask what else can be booked in the clubhouse on your date.

Two addresses are in circulation for the same property

The club’s own weddings and events page gives 100 Shadow Tree Lane, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510. Wedding Spot gives 339 Pine Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510. Both describe the same Briarcliff Manor property. We use the club’s own address and flag the conflict rather than quietly picking one, because guests will be following whichever one ends up on an invitation.
